Our Program

Quiet Rein offers professional training for riders of all ages and their horses in Hunter, Jumper and Equitation disciplines. We strive to provide an educational, fun, safe environment to improve your riding skills and your horse’s performance.

We will help you meet your equestrian goals, whether they are Showing, Pony club, High School Equestrian Team or simply wanting to improve your equestrian skills.

Our goal is to prepare you for the basics and provide expert guidance as you and your horse move up through the ranks of the "A rated" show circuit.

About Lessons

We teach lessons for all ages and skill levels. No matter what you goals are, showing or pleasure, we can accommodate you. We start everyone off with an evaluation lesson. In this lesson we cover in detail Safety for both you and the horse. We will do a brief lesson to help determine your skill level. Then we will talk about your goals.

From there we schedule additional lessons. You should plan on this lesson taking about 1-1.5 hours. I will then schedule a series of four lessons. These will all be private lessons. You may do these lessons how you choose. Some customers do lessons three times a week, while others take only one lesson a month.

At the end of the four lessons we will try to put you in a group lesson if one is available.

Our group lessons are 3 -4 students. Private lessons you will ride for 30-45 min., but you will need to plan on at least 1-1.5 hours at the barn for grooming and tack care. Group lessons are 1-1.5 hours, depending on the size of the group, and you should plan on being there at least 2 hours.
